Annette Monnier
(20 page zine with screen printed covers)
Hell Hath No Fury like a Woman Scorn’d by Annette Monnier is a short narrative set in Cincinnati, Ohio and Detroit, Michigan. Following the tale of two Jennys confronted by two Deaths battling with the two Death’s wives. The text, clearly readable in a mirror, detaches itself from our recognizable alphabet and becomes lines as spells, cryptic and unfamiliar. “The scenes that follow are best described only through pictures.”
Annette Monnier is an artist, curator, writer, and founding member of Black Floor and Copy, both collectively run gallery and studio spaces in the Chinatown neighborhood or Philadelphia. Her writing can be found on One Review A Month as well as Artblog.
