People Friends is crammed with recent sketchbook work by James Ulmer. Packed lonely crowds project depressed fragmented monologues for no one. Everyone has so much to say condensed into one liner catch phrase mantras. The thing is flooding over with tears in cheerful bright colors to take away some of the sadness.

Ulmer has shown his illustrations, drawings, and prints at Padlock Gallery, Mew Gallery, and Top Stitch Boutique in Philadelphia. He lives in South Philly. See more of Ulmer’s work here.
