
Back from the NYC zine fest with a new stack. From right to left:
· SHOWPAPER 52 – Past issue featuring Pom lover Brian Blomerth. Showpaper lists tons of shows happening around NYC.
· MAKING THE CURRICULUM – Robin Cameron’s Amazon Wish List asks do we need to go to school? Before your eyes – website becomes zine.
· JESUS LOVES ME – Black and white large scale photo-zine from Jon Bocksel. Shot on film featuring street scenes from the Bed Stuy neighborhood in Brooklyn focusing on hand-painted signs and displays.
· SURPRISE 1 + 2 – Calder and Wojack organize surprise party installations. These zines document their first two events. Covers have small drug baggies filled with surprise supplies (confetti and slime) used. Zines feature internet artwork collage and action shots from the surprise parties.
· MINDMAPS – another zine from Robin Cameron and published by Golden Age.
· FREE DANGER – So much black toner! Featuring dirty pics, Chuck Norris, old people regrets, more naked pics, and finally drunk advice. Also more naked people and ninja turtle drawings.
· SUPER TEN – Big book of ten designers and illustrators creating ten works about ten songs.
· AUTOSTOP – Nice little offset zine featuring drawings of hitchhikers from Zurich.
