A huge mistake. A made up prophecy. Price’s Broken World re-accounts the antiquated newspaper columns with headlines of the “Fake Image”, the “New Game”, and the “Dark Fantasy”. Played out in a raw and dense spewing of screen-printed vectors, icons, and pixels Broken World runs through a gamut of darkened optical gashes and degraded entry points. “…It is the fleeting desire to go right to the end as fast as possible that produces in the opening out of the travelling the tearing apart of the landscape.” Virilio

Staring out into a desertified horizon littered with Photoshopped hand bills in a natural setting. A giant moose in the McDonald’s parking lot. Burned out Hummer set ablaze by a burning one hundred dollar bill. Pixelated deer running through pixelated explosions. All to sell Gucci handbags. Computer still lives verses the seemingly infinite field of White Sands.

Scenes in Sarver’s www.EverythingIsAPyramidScheme.info set New Mexico as a back drop to the internet. Peering both inside and outside a manipulated and highly editable hyperspace simultaneously her .jpeg collages and desert photography read as a jarring navigation of the moments during a blue bar progress status freeze.

In this fifth volume from the Holy Shmoly series a monochromatic deluge unravels itself. Hsu’s cumulonimbus graphite investigation of subatomic auto-organic faux fungi grow amongst shaded 3-d zags. Between digital dogs and paper frogs the whole thing seems suspended in Philadelphia cloud formations.

Hsu, a long time member of Space 1026, busies himself with cardboard and bacon breaks in Hong Kong and the internet respectively.
