A visual aid to MPSP’s audio release titled Peak/Doubt. A sprawling lay out of devalued graphics generations beyond their original re-organize as mirrors of themselves, as metadata to themselves. Peak Doubt / Gushy Stuf comes with download code of audio release.

Live manipulation of cassettes and the components used to play them forms the core of Sebastian Petsu’s sound art process. He started layering found and repurposed tapes with the Rain of Belle Isle duo. In collaborations he now utilizes an unfair amount of controlled, textured tape deck feedback. Mark Price solos as the enigmatic and genuinely unpredictable Cars Will Burn. Described as a methodical dissection of Top 40 hip-hop club bangers that are at once scummy and decadent. Ultimately saying “yes, but…” to the world in the finest sampler abuse tradition.

MPSP align at once their own broken and generally fucked approaches of sonic technique to embark on a frenzied, derailed, and blasted out joy ride through house, hiphop, metal, and dub.

DFWORLD

Featuring collaborations and solos from various DFW crew heads. Over one dozen drawings of leaky eye balls, activity list for church youth group, “Graffiti Ideas”, and Crystal eating an ice-pop infront of an X-wave all start to get into how “whatever” DFW can get. DFWorld is a follow up to a series of DFW comic poster screen prints the gang produced in limited edition earlier in 2011. Printed in an edition of 250 for Zine Of The Month, January 2012.
